Identity Documents are used within VETtrak to submit to the Document Verification Service as a service to verify a persons identity, to allow the creation of a new Unique Student Identifer (USI).
Adding an Identity Document
In the Client Manager, right click on Identity Documents and select Add new identity document...
Select the relevant information of the document type the student has provided you, only the document types selectable in the list are valid for submission to the Document Verification Service:
Deleting an Identity Document
If Identity Document information is collected solely for the purposes of creating a USI, it must be deleted once the USI has been verified. VETtrak deletes documents by default, if you do not wish this to happen, untick the relevant option.
Otherwise if you have the created Identity Document appearing in the Client Manager, you can Right Click and select Delete identity document...
