Recording Task Statuses in the Trainer Portal

Task statuses can be recorded either by class, or by student. The process of recording a Task status behaves in an identical sense to Recording Results within the Trainer Portal. 

Recording Task Status by Class - Single Task, Multiple Students

If you want to record task statuses for a particular task for multiple students in the same class, first navigate to the relevant class from the Dashboard or Schedule.

  1. Click on the Students tab.
  2. Select the students you want to record task activity for.
  3. Click Record task status.

  1. This will display the selected students you wish to record this task status for.
  2. Select the task you want to record status for.
  3. Select the status you want to record.
  4. Select the start and finish dates for the task.
  5. Enter a due date for the task.
  6. (Optional) Enter a percentage mark for the task.
  7. You can leave any comments here for the VETtrak administrator doing quality assurance.
  8. You can optionally record a signature to endorse the status recorded.
  9. Click Submit.

Recording Task Status by Class - Multiple Tasks, Single Student

You can also record task statuses for multiple tasks associated with a class. You can only do this for one student at a time.

  1. Click on the Tasks tab.
  2. Select the tasks you want to record statuses for.
  3. Click Record task status.

  1. Shows the selected Tasks you want to record task activity for.
  2. Select the Student you want to record task activity for.
  3. Select the status you want to record.
  4. Select the start and finish dates for the task.
  5. (Optional) Enter a percentage mark for the task.
  6. (Optional) Enter a percentage mark for the task.
  7. You can leave any comments here for the VETtrak administrator doing quality assurance.
  8. You can optionally record a signature to endorse the status recorded.
  9. Click Submit.

Recording Results by Student - Single or Multiple Tasks

To record task status from the Student screen, click on their Enrolments tab, then on the Tasks tab. From here, you can expand the particular Enrolment that is associated with the tasks, and select Record Status.

This will then open the Record Tasks Status window.
Within the window that appears, Enter your desired data, then press the  button to populate it in the selected fields below it. Tick the boxes to the left hand side of a units name to select it.

  1. Select the status you want to record.
  2. Set the start and finish dates for the task.
  3. Enter a due date for the task.
  4. (Optional) Enter a percentage mark for the task.
  5. Enter a note
  6. You can optionally record a signature to endorse the status recorded.
  7. Click Submit.
