Skills First Program Step

The Skills First Program Step is an optional Registration Step found on the Registration Settings page, which is available from the Settings menu.

The 'Require Vic Skills First Program Declaration' checkbox activates the SFP Step in the registration process when it is enabled (). The step is skipped if the checkbox is disabled ().

Even with Require Vic Skills First Program Declaration enabled, users must provide a Victorian Residential Address for the SFP step to be included in the registration process.

The SFP step facilitates the user's application for the Victorian Skills First Program should they wish to apply.

The option 'Do not show Skip button', if enabled, will remove the button labelled I do not wish to apply that allows users to quickly bypass the step.

NOTE: VETenrol presents the qualification questions if the Programme Name includes the words Certificate or Diploma, and otherwise assumes the course to be a skill set. This is based on the meanings provided in the 2021 Guidelines About Eligibility (Version 1.0 4th Dec 2020).
