Assigning Pre-requisites to a Unit of Competency/Module

VETtrak has the ability to display a warning when enrolling someone into a Unit/Module without having completing associated units or modules that have been set up as pre-requisites, providing the appropriate Global Preference has been turned on.

Both Units of Competency and Modules support pre-requisites.

To add a pre-requisite to a Unit or Module:

  • Navigate to the Qualification Manager
  • Expand the Unit or Module so the Pre-requisite branch is visible.
  • Locate the unit or module that is to be the pre-requisite.
  • Drag and drop the Unit you wish to be a pre-requisite on to the Pre-requisite Heading.

If enabled, this preference will check the client has completed the pre-requisites when enrolling in unit(s).
