Progress Portal Dashboard

An employer's contact can view employees undergoing training, attendance, and results through a web browser.

When you log into the Progress Portal, you will find yourself at the dashboard pictured below:

The key areas of the Dashboard are as follows:

  1. Header
    • Navigation
    • Breadcrumbs
  2. Overview sections

NOTE: Overview sections irrelevant to the select organisation may be hidden. Your privileges with the selected organisation may also result in some sections being hidden.

 

Header

The header is displayed on every page of the progress portal, and provides access to various functionality and navigation.

 

Navigation

  • VETtrak Logo and Dashboard link - click to return to the Dashboard from any other page.
  • Employer drop down menu.  See Notes, Empolyer details and Invoices from this drop down.
  • Links - click to show the menu of external links. This feature may not display if there aren't any external links set up.

Functionality provided by the icons to the right:

Click this to expand into the search bar, which allows you to look up students/trainees and display their training report.

If the quick search does not find an exact match, the search results page will be displayed allowing an advanced search.

help.png

The help icon toggles context sensitive help, which link back to articles here in the help centre.

user.png

The account icon provides list of employers you are associated with. The progress portal will only allow you select employers you see collated information for.

Change Password, Change Primary email address and Log off is also available from this menu.

 

Breadcrumbs

A representation of where you are within the site. The pages preceding the current one are links that can be clicked to navigate to that page.

 

Overview sections

Each section provides an overview of related activity. Click a sub-section to see full details.

An example of one such section is:

There are three categories associated with each section, and those categories can be clicked to open the more detailed records of that category.

Overview sections may be hidden based relevancy to the organisation or on your privileges with the selected organisation. If you feel a section is missing that shouldn't be, you will need to liaise with your employer and the training provider to see if your existing privileges can be updated.
